The facet cut; curved lid has a facet cut crown; consisting of a button; four discs and a peak. On the other side a cartouche consisting of symmetrical tendrils with two naked men; each emptying a barrel. The cartouche contains a seascape with Fortuna perched on a shell that is pulled by two dolphins and is surrounded by three mermaids. Fortuna holds a globe and a staff in her left hand; a sail in the right hand; but a mermaid holds the other end. In the background two sailing boats. The lid is decorated with flower and leaf and band work; a cartouche with a dolphin and two boats.
