Altar cloth of linen damask with an edge spool lace with very thin tendril with c-shaped splits and buttons; Altar cloth of linen damask with a pattern of four-leaf clover. Rectangular model. On one side a strip is sewn from bobbin lace; from the old Flemish side. The repeating and continuous pattern consists of a very thin branch with a lot of c-shaped splices and with small oval buttons or berries at the ends. The branch is made in a lattice soil; a five-hole soil. The very sparingly applied full work is made in linen; with the openwork edges being about as wide as the full work. The top of the strip is sewn straight on the side of the damask. The bottom is straight finished with picots. The short sides are finished with a hem. There is a hemp around the damask; except for the fringes.; anonymous; Southern Netherlands; c. 1650 - c. 1699; linen (material); old Flemish lace; l 100 cm 脙鈥?w 265 cm 脙鈥? 5.5 cm
