The repeating and continuous pattern consists of a strongly curved stem on the top of the strip on which a calyx flower hangs. Below is a slightly curved stem along the underside of the strip with an upward-facing rosette flower; which crowns the calyx. The two flower stems with feathered leaves together form the shape of a comma. The successive commas are connected by a hanging daisy or chrysanthemum. The motifs are connected by a decorative ground; a snow ground. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges. Grid fillings are decorated with snowflakes.
