The repetitive pattern consists of stiff linen with a large open worked circular field; in which with circle-shaped braids a circle is made with a horizontal center line from which four diamond-shaped spokes arise. With small recesses in the linen work the contours of a square are made around this field. Along the underside of the strip there is a scallop open in the linen work; directly below this square and a short distance away from it; under the dividing line between the squares; another scallop open.
