Partisan of the arms rack donated by Indian greats to Governor-General J.C. baron Baud; Round wooden shaft painted in black; red; yellow and green with representations of Boddhisattvas; human figures and geometric motifs. Bottom shaft and casing with horizontal notches tapered in an oval point. Casing has pointed top edge. Narrow blade ending in sharp point. The four lips are without decoration and; alternately; different in length. The base of the blade is decorated with tendrils; in relief; gilt and rubies. The blade is decorated with Boddhisattva figure and geometric motifs; continuously in a centrally located simplified floral pattern.
