On the one a man; frontal and full-length; dressed in wide pants; half-high boots with a sagging brim; a short shoulder cloak; jerkin; wide neck collar and wide-brimmed hat. On the other hinge a woman; also full-length but here slightly turned to the left. She is wearing a long dress. The left hand is resting on her side. The right arm is extended to the left. The upper part of the hinges consists of a fantasy ornament in a canopy shape. On the front a silver key plate in cartouch shape and a bolt. Above that also a canopy-shaped decoration (9 x 5 cm). The lacquer pattern is composed of mother-of-pearl rectangles with medallions in the middle.
