Banner of one of the Scottish regiments; Ecru; in the center the coat of arms of the King of England-Hanover; surrounded by the Order of the Garter (the buckle is on the front and the parading side on the flight side) held by a crowned-looking leopard; and a unicorn with a golden crown around its neck; on which a golden chain depends (or symbol of England and that of Scotland; respectively). Above it a helmet with an open visor; covered with a royal crown. The helmet is surrounded by symmetrical decorative foliage that extends above the wearers. Under the weapon is an asymmetrical cartouche. Under the cartouche a blue banderole draped with in classical gold capital: DIEU ET MON DROIT.
