Placing an image of the Ship full of Treasures under the pillow at the start of the new year would create a dream about the lucky symbols: Mount Fuji; a falcon and aubergines; the most fortunate dream possible. These lucky symbols are also hidden in the surimono itself: the pillow depicts the Fuji; with the white pillow as a snowy top; Fuji; a falcon and two aubergines are depicted on the label of the round box; which contains preserved pieces of aubegines.
