Star-Timer. Men's watch. Switzerland; Automatic. Two tone stainless steel/gold; original leather strap brown; original folding clasp; dial lacquered; printed; hands blued. Total weight: 86.5g. L.ca. 21.7cm; D.ca. 3.9cm. Case-No: 174. Caliber Valjoux 7751; GMT-function. 1909 the bond for life began; the rivals Daimler and Benz had found each other. It was in no way a burning passion; but rather a happy meeting of two genious technicians. Combining the Daimler-star with the laurel wreath of Benzwas still several years away; but in 1926 it was done. 1927 the logo became even more colourful and in 1929 the logo that is used to this day was presented. In 1999 the marketing department of Mercedes-Benz decided; that instead of displaying the lunar phase that disc could be used to show the development of the Mercedes-Logos. In this way the star-timer was born. Of this Chronograph there exist only 200 units worldwide. Condition C: (M) 3-4;27 (D) 2 (C) 4;14-15
