Large Covered Historicist Goblet.
Germany. 19th C. After the 'Fortunapokal' of Hans Pezolt; N黵nberg.

Silver with interior gilt. Columbine shaped goblet. Lobed bell foot; on the flat edges are 6 small cherubs with garlands and strapwork. The baluster shaft has a female protomes between leaves and volutes. Bell-shaped cuppa 6 lobed with cherub and strapwork reliefs. The cover has foliage edges crowned with Venus Marina. Height 60;5cm. ca. 1820. Condition A/B.
Markings in the style of Augsburg with maker's mark CoT and further marks.
