Each stretcher with former inscription
Both paintings were etched and edited ca. 1742 by Marcus Pitteri. Copies of the etching are listed in the British Museum (reg.no.: 1856;0614.11; 1856;0614.14). In our opinion the two paintings of almost the same size are templates or so-called ricordi for the workshop.
