Bajonet clasp: 750/- white gold; weight: 373;5g. 18 hand-carved Burmese jadeite spheres (natural) D.ca. 25;27-20;64mm; 19 onyx discs D.ca. 12;20mm; ca. 110 brilliants in total ca. 1;50ct TW(G) VVS; L. ca. 50;5cm. Jade is the collective name for a group of precious stones; the varieties of which are jadeite and nephrite. The stones used in this piece are of a very fine quality jadeite from Myanmar. The emerald green colour is caused by traces of chrome. Jadeite is very hard and durable. The individual jadeite spheres show carved dragon motives.
