H x W = ca. 3;0 x 1;8cm. 12 foiled diamond roses; 1 natural pearl droplet (pinned); cream; D.ca. 4;59 x 3;29mm. Enclosed golden necklace; 585/- yellow gold; ca. 1;3g; L.ca. 44;5cm. The manufacturing technique; colour choice and the characteristic state of preservation of the various enamel sorts speak for a piece of Dresden-based jeweller art of the early 18th century. It can be assumed that the master of this pendant was highly influenced by the Dresden-based court jeweller Johann Melchior Dinglinger (1664-1731). Cf. W.
Holzhausen; Unbekannte Pretiosen von Johann Melchior Dinglinger; in: Gold+Silber.
