Thailand. Sukhothai; Ayutthaya. 15th/16th century or later.
Bronze with dark patina. Buddha in U Thong style sitting in virasana on a base plate; the right hand in bhumisparsha mudra; the folded samgathi robe over the left shoulder. Height 56;5 cm; width 41 cm. Condition B. Flame tip on the head is missing.
