Thailand. Ban Chiang. Late period; ca. 300 BC - 300 AD.
Ceramic; particularly light with iron-red painting on an incised surface. Under the horizontal lip painted with cross motifs and medallions. On one side expressive black fire marks due to enclosed carbon. Height 21;5cm; ?22 cm. Condition C. Cracks; put together; one piece is an addition.Art trade; Van Ham.
