NETSUKE: OKAME WITH FAN; IVORY
Last quarter of the 19th Century.

Okame in the long robe of a court lady with a large fan in her left hand. Next to her Shiofuki is squatting with a large mushroom; which is promising happiness; in his left hand. His mouth looks like he's about to whistle and on his back he carries a gourd bottle. Very delicately carved and engraved; details slightly stained. Signed: Komin; not registered. H. 5;9 cm. Condition A/B.
