Table screen of lacquer; bipartite. In a wide; profiled frame covered with gold and brown-black lacquer; delicately scattered in order to suggest the wood grain. On the inner side in a very delicate; coloured hiramakie with silver; gold and red flowering chrysanthemums on the one side and peonies on the other. Nadeshiko at the bottom. On the outer sides chicken with chicklets in front of a gyobu ground in hira to takamakie. Engraved silver hinges. Height 22 cm; width 23 cm (open); 11;4 cm (closed) cm. Condition A/B. Minimal abrasions on the edges.Art trade; Van Ham.
