Hand spun cotton with warp ikat in natural dyes. Sewn from two symmetrical panels. The round motifs in the stripes on both sides might be depictions of manta. This type of sarong was worn by elderly women of higher status. 147 x 65cm double. Condition B. Some traces of use and an old repair.
