Hand-woven cotton patterned in warp ikat; sewn from two panels. In the clearly rendered ikat are to find motifs like a person in a boat and a rider. The motifs derive from ancient rock paintings. The sikalau namilau were worn by men of higher status. 190 x 85cm. Condition A.
