Skilful and humourous drawings of the scenes of the fairytale alternate with the calligraphic text which is denoted with seals. Titled on the outside: Momotar?mukashi monogatari zu (The old tale of Momotar?. Interestingly two seals concerning the calligrapher have been cut out and replaced. Sign.: Jinshin haku (Graf Jinshin). Condition B.

The association for classic works T鬹y鬹otenkai registers under entry 201 for the Japanese manuscripts online a similarly titled scroll; with a photo of an almost identical scene.
