BRONZE VASE WITH SILVER INLAY.
Ming Dynasty; 16th century.

Heavy bronze with shiny brown patina with figurative silver wire inlay showing a fenghuang bird and dragon amongst clouds. Neck and foot with waves and leiwen. On the neck a diamond border between two rings. On a later wooden base. Height 20.2cm; ?11.5cm. Condition B. Small casting imperfections and traces of use due to old age. Supplement: later wooden base; carved in low relief.
