With a branch of green tinted bamboo in its mouth. Very finely carved and polished; partly stained. Signed on the tail Godo (GOICHIRO ABE GODO; *1914); who was a pupil of Shibata Yosuke and Takahashi Katsuzo. Height 3;7cm. Signed on the enclosed wooden box: Tonton; which is the name of the Panda born on 1st of June 1986 in the zoo of Tokyo. Inside of the box signed Godo with red seal.
