MONGOLIAN PONY WITH SADDLE. CERAMIC.
China. Western Jin Dynasty; 265-317 AD.

The hollow-constructed ceramic body standing on short; knife-cutted legs; the hogged mane terminating in a curious bud-shaped knob between the pricked ears. It has flared nostrils; bulged eyes and a saddle with tall bow. Usual restorations. Height 42cm; length 52cm. Condition A/B.
