China. Qing Dynasty. Qianlong period (1736-95) but rather late to the period.

Anthracite stoneware (black porcelain); moulded; with glossy; turquoise-blue; finely crazed robin's egg blue glaze; the relief unglazed and gilt in imitation of gilt bronze. Four large vases with flowers of the seasons; inbetween a teaset; lotus blossoms; a censer; a flaming pearl; a lingzhi mushroom and laterally two ringed lion masks. Gilt stopper with blossoms and ruyi arches. Height 7.2cm. Four character Qianlong mark in the bottom. Condition A/B.
