LIDDED VASE WITH CHILONG DRAGONS. JADE.
China. Middle Qing dynasty. 18th/19th c.
Green jade (jadeit) with brown inclusions and two emerald green spots; one on the shoulder and the other at the foot. The flat baluster vase with a domed lid crowned by a chilong dragon with a loose chain; connected with one of the smaller chilong dragons on the sides of the vase. On each shoulder a handle in the shape of a lingzhi with a loose ring. On front and back in bas relief a taotie mask bordered with leafs. Height 24cm; width 14;5cm; depth 3;5cm. Condition A.
