China. Ming/Qing dynasty. 16th/17th c.

Cloisonn?over bronze. On the inside on a navy blue ground a perforated stone with flowering peonies and a green bird. The rim with treasure ornaments and marine creatures on a white ground. Outside on the rim flowers of the four seasons and waves. Inside the foot ring lotus scrolls and two striped banners crossed. If these are modelled after western flags or in the tradition of Buddhist banners; can not be said for sure. Height about 6cm; ?7;8cm. Condition A/B.
