Brass with fire gilding. Vajrabhairava (sanskrit yamantaka; tib. shinje che) in his 34-armed form in yabyum with Vajravetali. Holding the chopper knife (kartrika) and the skull cup (kapala) in his main arms. Shown with nine heads and blazing hair. His right legs are bent; the feet pressing down on six animals; one human and four deities; one of them three-headed. With his left feet; Yamantaka is standing on top of eight birds and four Hindu gods; among them the elephant-headed Ganesha. The figure磗 pedestal originally sealed. Height 17cm; Depth 6;6cm. Condition A/B.
