MIGHTY SENNIN GAMA. IVORY.
18th c.

The unusually big Sennin with the typical wide broad face and the expressive; big eyes; all this proves its probable origin from Ky鹲h?according to Alain Ducros. As many Sennin Gama he holds a frog in front of his chest. He wears a belted robe worn in the back and a leafy collar and apron. Very finely carved and engraved; partly stained for effect and with a beautiful; golden-yellow natural patina. H.12;6cm. Condition A.
