TABAKOIRE OF SNAKESKIN WITH SILVER KANAMONO AND HEAVY KAGAMIBUTA
Mid 19th c.

The kanamono in shape of a curled dragon with flaming (gilt) joints and a tiger jumping over it; the counter plate with engraved clouds. Joint with the ivory domed bowl by 15 silver-chains. The silver plate shows a gilt tiger in high relief jumping over a tigress swimming among waves and spray. + 5;5cm. Condition: A/B.
