Fossilised tooth of a Mastodonsaurus prehistoric amphibian that lived in the Middle Triassic (330 million years ago), in what is now Germany. This tooth measures 5cm in length. Mastodonsaurus was a giant amphibian that measured up to 5 meters in length and had a pair of huge fangs. Collection Jean-Philippe et Francois-Xavier Blouet, paleontologists.
