EXEPTIONELL BIG AND ROUND PORCELAIN PLATE.
China. Qing dynasty. 19th c.
Porcelain finely painted in underglaze blue. Backside unglazed. Between dense lotus scrolls four huge animals flying; which might be interpreted as phoenix or dragons. The rim with a leaf border. ?45.5cm. Condition B. Chip on the back.
The plate might have been inlayed in a table or as a wall decoration.
