A palace of the Han dynasty in spring dawn (kalligraphy by Zhu Yizun).
China. Probably 19th/20th c. Hand scroll. Picture size 31 x 175.5cm. Front title colophon 31 x 84cm. Rear colophon 35.2 x 142cm.
The roofs of the palace are getting visible in the hazy mountains. Inscription by Chen Hongshou (1598-1652) on the picture about the artist. Title colophon in powerful calligraphy in regular script (kaishu) of Zhu Yizun (1629-1709); seal: Zhu Yizun; Zhu Tuo. Rear colophon: Calligraphy in small seal script by Zhang Guan; seal: Zhang; Guan.
At the right below sign.: Shifu Qiu Ying and seal: Shifu. Condition A/B.Art trade; Van Ham.
