Colors and gold on fabric; framed with silk and behind glass. The dark red skinned Mah鈑鈒a in yab-yum standing on Ganesha. Over his back he stretches an elephant skin; in his hands he is holding the trisula trident; a akusa hook; a vajra; a kapala skull cup; and a pasa lasso. His partner wears a very finely crafted bone apron and is holding in
her two hands a kapala and a katrika chopping knife. In the four corners tantric
protective deities; at the top Buddha Amit鈈ha. 68 x 42.5cm; Frame dimensions: 83 x 57cm. Condition A/B. Rubbed and central folds. Supplement: Original photo of the former owner during her travel on an excursion to Japan in jinrikisha.
