Ivory; finely carved. Standing in flowing robes and holding the peach with both hands. The upper part of his scholars headgear carved separately and was formerly stained in a dark color. With a knowing smile he has his head turned to the left. The base carved in openwork like clouds. Height 28cm. Mounted on a wooden base. Condition B/C. Cracks; minor missing parts and lower part broken.
