RARE FOOD CONTAINER HTAMIN JAINT.
Myanmar/Burma. 20th c.
Bamboo/wood; outside lacquered black with fine red edges; inside red. Four parts; each with tray; the uppermost tray quartered. The cover with an inscription; probably from a manufacturer. The form was originally imported from India in the early 20th century; but spread fast in Burma. Height 47.5cm; ?21cm. Condition A/B.
