Turned wood; bamboo. Lacquered black; decorated with incised red yun lacquer. The body with numerous acheik borders; in a wider band scenes with riders; cariots; dancers and warriors on a red shaded background. The openwork foot is separate. Inside lacquered red on black; like Japanese negoro lacquer. Height 79cm; ?36cm. Conditon A/B.
