Ivory; well carved and engraved; slightly stained. He turns laughingly towards the small monkey wearing a straw-hat. In his left he holds an uchiwadaiko drum and a staff with a ring. H.5;3cm; Sign.: Tomomasa t? cf. MCI p. 905; probably the 3rd. Condition A/B. Loss on the hoop. Vestiges of glue on the feet.
