SHUNGA-NETSUKE: MOKUGY?
Japan. Sh魒a period. Before 1975.

Boxwood. Wooden drum with handles made of two opposing dragon heads; with strongly curved body; the dragon heads carved very thoroughly. One of the two panels with very delicately carved scales can be opened. Behind that; a stripped-down erotic scene made from ivory; subtly polychromed with movable penis can be found. W.5cm. Condition A.
