Five-part; entirely covered in Kinji; upper side slightly domed. In delicate Sumi-e Kikujid?holding a brush; the inkstone by his side; sitting on a slope covered in chrysanthemums with a view of a waterfall. Nashiji inside. Saya covered with kinji and red depicting large chrysanthemum flowers. H.6.6cm; including Saya 6.7cm. Signed: Kansh魋ai; cf. Wra. p. 114. Condition A/B. Supplement: Manj? two-parts with rounded edges. Hexagon pattern in gold Hiramakie on kinji. Slight scratch-marks from Saya.
