STANDING MAITREYA.
Tibet/Nepal. Ca. 1900.
Bronze; finely graved; fire-gilding and inlaid with stones. Standing; his right hand raised in abhaya mudra. His garment is carved with fine pattern and over his left shoulder he wears an animal hide. In his left hand he supports a lotus with a big flower at his shoulder. Height 27.2cm; with base 32.2cm. Condition A/B. Wooden base added later.
