NETSUKE: KIRIN WITH SOLDIERS.
Japan. Edo period. Early 18th c.

Ivory with golden-yellow patina and stained details. A chinese soldier with long beard; as well as a fan and sword in his hands riding on a Kirin. He is accompanied by soldiers on both sides; which are carrying a standard and a flag with them. Height 4.8cm; width 5cm. Condition A/B. Age cracks.
