Boxwood; the ends darkened to suggest charcoal. Six stens with charcoal; wrapped in a fine strawmat; tied with strong ropes. The finely engraved top of the stems suggests that they were meant for the tea ceremony. Height 1.2cm; width 4.1cm. Sign.: Shuzan. Condition A/B. Few scratches and gnaw marks.Art trade; Van Ham.
