MODEL OF AN OVEN. CERAMIC.
China. Eastern Han dynasty (25-220 AD).

Iron red shard with a green glaze; partly iridescent. The horse shoe shaped oven model is designed with many details. Two half round pots with pointed bottom are set into openings. On plates around the oven different dishes like fish and other devices like hooks and spoons. The top frame and around the stokehole lozenge patterns depicting tiles. Height 18;5cm; 41 x 34cm. Condition B/C.
