Estonia; Harju County; village of Viinistu: exhibition halls (former water tanks) and open air theatre of Viinistu Art Museum; Viinistu is located directly on the shores of the Gulf of Finland (German: Finnischer Meerbusen). Here; Jaan Manitzki; born 1942 in Viinistu; has built up a conglomerate of fascinating activites; in Viinistu. After having bought the old fish factory; in 1998; he started to produce here fish again; for two years; but failed. In 2002; he established in parts of the factory an art museum for modern Estonian art which today shows more than 1000 art objects. As well; there are a hotel; a beach restaurant; the village yacht harbour; a concert hall; a summer theatre and the opportunity to go for excursions to the nearby island of Mohni. Jaan Manitzki exiled in 1943 with his parents to Sweden and became a succesful business man. As well; he managed the Swedish pop music group ABBA; for a certain time (1978 to 1988). In 1992; he became the first foreign minister of the newly independant Republic of Estonia.
