Photograph - Stranded Spar at Fraser River; King Island; 1887; In the background of this photograph of the mouth of the Fraser River; King Island can be seen the huge stranded spar of a shipwreck. The spar extended from a mast to hold the extended bottom sail. One of thirty-two black and white photographs in an album [two are loose] taken by A J Campbell during a Field Naturalists' Club of Victoria expedition to King Island in November 1887. The album
