Negative - Burnt out shop; Manangatang; Victoria; 1933; On the 16th of March; 1933 a fire in the town of Mananatang destroyed three shops. This image shows the remains of one of the shops; Raphael's Store. It was reported in the Sydney Morning Herald the following day that due to the anbsence of any fire fighting equipment; and the poor water supply; handicapped fire-fighters. It was estimated that the fire caused between ?000 - ?0000 damage.
