Granada, Spain - 19 July 2015; The Palacio de la Madraza has had an interesting history. Starting as a medieval Madrassah, an advanced institute of Islamic learning, it then became the first city hall of Granada following the Christian Reconquista. It finally returned to its educational roots as a cultural and conference centre for the University of Granada. As can be seen here, the ornate decoration and arabesques of its rooms rival that of even the fabled Alhambra Palace.
