Ta Phrom, Cambodia - 19 January 2005; Ta Prohm is a well-known temple at Angkor, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. It was built in the Bayon style, largely in the late 12th and early 13th centuries. Rescued from the forest, it is famed for its trees which are slowly crushing, smashing and inundating the surviving buildings. This iconic and disturbing sight demonstrates of the transience of mankind and its works. This particular tree looks like aTetrameles nudiflora.
