The Duke of Gloucester, the King's third son, was married this morning to lady Alice Scott, sister of the Duke of Buccleuch in the private chapel at Buckingham Palace. Though today's ceremony was, owing to the recent death of the bride's father, shorn of much of the brilliant spectacle that attended the wedding of the Duke of Kent, huge crowds watched the bride drive to the palace.
