This was the incident witnessed by Princess Margaret when she was watching a regatta from the yacht Enchantress in the harbour at Nassau, Bahamas. Police are seizing Jean Pierre Pettrozzini, Paris-Match photographer, who with an English photographer had, against orders, jumped to the dock where Princess Margaret was due to land. An enquiry into the incident has since been held by the Governor of the Bahamas, the Earl of Ranfurly, and the Bahamas Government have issued a statement in which it was admitted that the police "took over-zealous action".
